Our elementary educational is blended, which means every child works with a US or CANADA-based teacher through an online learning management, as well as a dedicated tutor who comes to your home to work with your child one-on-one. The curriculum is run and managed by leading and accredited Canadian-based and US-based educational entities. Our blended approach is therefore superior and more effective than purely face-to-face or purely online classes..

ELEMENTARY CURRICULUM (CANADIAN OR AMERICAN)

Elementary interdisciplinary curriculum is designed to teach the standards using interrelated activities. The courses are divided into two disciplines — reading / social studies and mathematics / science with an overlay of the technology skills important to function in the 21st century. Many standards cross subject areas and are taught and measured in both classes. The following skills cross grade levels and subjects and form the basis of more discrete subject matter skills taught.

HOW IT WORKS

We recognize a child’s need to touch, talk, listen, and move while learning at an early age. The combination of our project-based curriculum package, teacher support, and academic coach support set young children up for an experience that nurtures their innate love of learning.

ACADEMIC COACHES

Academic coaches play an important role in supporting and guiding their child’s education. Our Project-Based Curriculum Guides prepare coaches for the school year by providing a weekly outline of the coursework for each subject area. Weekly lesson plans coupled with supporting literature books, science experiments, math manipulatives, and geographical exploration, students are able to move through their lessons and grasp concepts through a hands-on approach to learning.

LANGUAGE COURSE OPTIONS

We provide online World Language course options for students as early as Kindergarten. Students in grades K-2 can choose from Spanish, French, or Chinese, and enroll in courses designed specifically for younger students that focus on vocabulary acquisition through stories, games, songs, and practice activities. Beginning in 3rd grade, students have the opportunity to add German or Latin. Older students will enhance their communication skills by learning greetings, introductions, commands, grammar, and engage in familiar phrases, songs, and activities.
THRIVE AND GROW
Through the support of our curriculum, teacher support, and academic coach support, students in lower school are able to thrive and grow their love of learning, and find themselves prepared to make the transition to Middle School.
